MORE CHEAT CODES ADDED TO CRAPPIE ARSENAL

If you haven’t heard by now, the Itty Bit Series is where it’s at right now in crappie fishing. And Bobby Garland Crappie Baits just released a whole lot more to the lineup.

Let’s take a look at all the new baits, plus a sneak peek at new Original Baby Shad colors coming in January.

When the popular Mayfly was launched five years ago, it was only available in 12 colors and came packaged in a 50-count bulk bag, making its availability limited at in-store locations.

The Mayfly is an incredibly versatile soft plastic with all its appendages and body detail. One Mayfly can become several other great crappie-catching profiles with a few scissor cuts.

Remove the wings and legs for a beefier Baby Shad profile, but with the bonus of a ribbed and forked tail. When the body has taken enough of a beating, cut the tail off for a slender ribbed body with a flexible split tail.

While the Itty Bit Slab Hunt’R and Itty Bit Mayfly get most of the attention in the Itty Bit Series, the Itty Bit Slab Slay’R is a favorite profile of Bobby Garland fishing staff, especially on tough days.

Bobby Garland Crappie Baits prides itself on having color patterns that match any water condition for each of its bait models.  The Itty Bit Slab Slay’R was lacking at only 8 colors, so they brought in 10 new colors to fill in the gaps.

The Itty Bit Slab Slay’R has numerous applications based on technique, but our favorite way to fish it is straight down on a 1/16-ounce head. A deadstick presentation with subtle rod tip shakes is as close to fail-proof as it gets when conditions are at their toughest.

The Itty Bit Series baits needed some terminal support and Bobby Garland Crappie Baits delivered with three new sizes added to the Itty Bits Jighead and a 1/32-ounce version of the new Head Turn’R Jighead.

The Itty Bits Jighead lineup now includes 1/16-, 1/8- and 1/4-ounce options in addition to the original 1/64- and 1/48-ounce sizes. The new larger sized heads feature a plain shank hook. This modification to the original downturned lead keeper ensures a longer lifespan for each bait and gives anglers the option to create hand-tied jigs.

The 1/32-ounce Head Turn’R Jighead pairs perfectly with the Itty Bit Slab Hunt’R. It’s a deadly combo for cast and retrieve anglers in the fall and late spring.
