Three of the great brands sold on Lurenet released outstanding new lures this week in conjunction with the Bassmaster Classic. See for yourself!

Just when you think fishing lures can’t get any better, new baits gets released with refinements that legitimately make them perform tasks even more effectively than their predecessors. It has been happening since James Heddon’s day and is sure to continue. For anglers, it’s exciting to learn about the newest releases and determine which ones best fit our own fishing styles.
With that in mind, we’re providing a heads up on the outstanding, brand-new offerings from Great Lakes Finesse, YUM and Rebel Lures. These baits were introduced just this week in correlation with the Bassmaster Classic, so virtually no other anglers have them yet, and the fish in most waters haven’t seen them!
Great Lakes Finesse Stay-Pinned Spybait

The No. 1 problem with most spybaits is that fish (especially big, wildly jumping bass) too frequently free themselves during the fight. The Great Lakes Finesse Stay-Pinned Spybait uses a patent-pending top “breakaway hook,” in addition to two bottom-hanging trebles, so bass stay pinned, just as the name says.
The GLF Team refined the Stay-Pinned Spybait for more than three years, experimenting with body shaping, weighting, hook placement and every other aspect to create the perfect spybait – one that runs true at very slow speeds with a subtle shimmy and blades that turn freely. The bait sinks slowly with a shimmy and horizontal posture, when not being reeled, and tracks completely horizontal on the move.
The Stay-Pinned Spybait also features a Water-Through-Gill design that enhances the shimmy and adds resistance to maximize an angler’s ability to feel the bait.
The Stay-Pinned Spybait comes in 11 colors that range from Matte Black to ultra-subtle Pro Mist to fit every situation. It comes armed with BKK Super Slide hooks.
YUM Covert Spinnerbait Trailer

The entire BOOYAH Covert Spinnerbait series came from the mind of Jason Christie, so it should be no surprise that a new YUM spinnerbait trailer created specifically to match with Covert Spinnerbaits comes at Christie’s request and that every detail follows his exact specifications.
The YUM Covert Spinnerbait Trailer starts with a traditional, narrow, twin-tail design and is molded from durable material. Key distinctive features truly set it apart from all other spinnerbait trailers.
First, tiny feet at the ends of each tail enhance the swimming action. In addition, a line that runs lengthwise marks the center, making it elementary to rig the trailer exactly straight, which is critical for proper performance.
A line that circles the bait marks a point that can be pinched and turned to cleanly and strategically shorten the trailer. Out of the package, the Covert Spinnerbait Trailer perfectly matches a Covert Spinnerbait. Downsized at the separation point, it matches a Covert Finesse Spinnerbait.
Of course, the same profile, action and colors that make the Covert Spinnerbait Trailer ideal for pairing with Covert Series Spinnerbaits make it an outstanding trailer for virtually any spinnerbait.
The YUM Covert Spinnerbait Trailer comes in six colors, each selected by Chistie to complement the Covert Spinnerbait line-up: White, JC Special, Bone, Blue/Chartreuse, Chartreuse, Pearl Silver.
Great Lakes Finesse 3.25-inch Dropkick Shad

The objective was simple when Great Lakes Finesse developed the Dropkick Shad: to create the perfect finesse swimbait, with tail action that was neither too tight nor unnaturally wide, and durability to contend with big, ornery smallmouth bass.
The original GLF 2.75-inch Dropkick Shad solved these issues, with optimal tail action for triggering strikes and incredible toughness, and the same is true about the new 3.25-inch version. The original was ideal for fishing on a drop shot, a ball head jig or a Sneaky Underspin. The larger version opens options, including fishing the Dropkick Shad on a swimbait head or an umbrella rig. It also excels as a spinnerbait or bladed jig trailer.
With either size, even the slowest forward motion engages the action, and true neutral buoyancy keeps the bait horizontal, like a real baitfish. The Dropkick Shad’s natural baitfish shape is just thick enough to suggest a worthwhile meal to big bass while maintaining necessary finesse. 3D Live Eyes and a natural matte finish elevate realism.
The 2.75-inch and 3.25-inch Dropkick Shad are available in 16 colors that include four new colors: Pro Blue Red Pearl, Perch, AYU and Iridescent.
Rebel Ultra-Finesse Jig

Ultra-Finesse Jig Snack Packs, new from Rebel Lures, offer an ideal solution for fooling the finickiest of fish, with cast-and-catch convenience right out of the package.
Rebel Ultra-Finesse Jigs utilize Rebel’s KEG Jig Head design, which was introduced with LIVEflex soft plastic lures. The head shape rolls off rocks and other cover effectively but is also well suited for swimming presentations. A finesse-style skirt adds subtle motion, and a pre-rigged LIVEflex bait completes the natural appearance.
LIVEflex soft plastic baits accurately mimic natural forage and are exceptionally durable, buoyant for better presentations, and infused with a strong attractant scent.
Each Snack Pack includes two 3/32-ounce Ultra-Finesse Jigs, each pre-rigged with a different LIVEflex bait, and a spare of both body styles. The Ultra-Finesse Jig Snack Pack comes in seven different color and shape combinations. Three come matched with Creek Craws and Shore Shiners; four with Creek Craws and Cata Crawlers.
Pre-rigged baits make the Ultra-Finesse Jig Snack Packs simple to use, even for less experienced anglers, and the jigs can be dragged along the bottom, hopped or swam. They work well in a range of situations but are especially well suited for clear water, bright skies, heavily pressured fish and other circumstances that cause bass and other gamefish to be extra fussy.
YUM Sniper Shad

Marrying the head shape, intricate details and softness of a YUM Scottsboro Swimbait with the subtle movement and sleek profile of a pintail minnow bait, the YUM Sniper Shad offers major bass appeal for a variety of important applications.
The slight roll and slender profile of the Sniper Shad, which comes in three sizes, makes it ideal for various jig/minnow presentations, with or without forward facing sonar, to coax strikes from pressured bass. The same sleekness and tight tail action make the Sniper Shad an excellent bladed jig trailer and well suited for fishing on an underspin or specialized swimming head.
Molded details that bring realism to the Sniper Shad include eyes, fins, gills and a natural scale pattern. Subtle and precise widening of the belly creates the perfect roll to prompt strikes.
The Sniper Shad is available in 3-, 4- and 5-inch sizes and in 12 colors, which include classics like Green Pumpkin and Black/Blue and realistic, multi-tone baitfish imitating colors.
Great Lakes Finesse Bait Bags

Not lures. We know. These are in addition to the five great lures. They were also released in correlation with the Classic, and we thought you’d like to know about them!
Like everything Great Lakes Finesse put its name on, the new Finesse Bait Bags were developed on the water by dedicated anglers and derived from decades of experience to provide genuine, practical benefits and best-in-class quality.
Made durable to withstand being tossed around and continually opened and closed, the Finesse Bait Bags are puncture-resistant and water-resistant, including heavy-duty, smooth-tracking zippers. Important practical features include a see-through window on top for quick identification of what is inside any given bait bag and a Velcro divider system that makes the inside customizable for whatever you want to sort and store.
Even the shape and sizes are highly intentional. The Finesse Bait Bags are modular and stackable, and the large size matches the most common size of stowable tackle tray, which means it fits neatly in boat compartments and tackle bags.
