Madisonville, Texas, professional angler Matt Reed has been on the tour for more than six years and is a master of all types of fishing. Matt has eight top 10 finishes and is always a strong competitor on any type of lake or waterway. He loves fishing deep in summertime and says that flippin' vegetation may be his biggest strength. His performance in BASS Elite Series events in 2009 has him on the bubble for making the 2010 Bassmaster Classic.
Current status: Sits on the cusp of the Classic. Depending on how many BASS Elite pros qualify for the Bassmaster Classic through BASS Open tournaments, Reed could fish the 2010 Classic. His best finish in 2009 was 10th at the Lake Guntersville event.
