Timmy Horton
From Muscle Shoals, Ala., former bass guide turned BASS Elite Series professional fisherman Tim Horton is a member of the Million Dollar Club, consisting of anglers who've won more than $1 million on the trail. He's working on his 13th year of professional fishing and is the only angler to win BASS Angler of the Year and Rookie of the year in the same year (2000). Tim's an offshore structure guru but well rounded in all fishing techniques, and qualified for the Bassmaster Classic 10 times. The crankbait he helped design, the Switchback Shad, features a rattle that can be “turned off” so the bait can run silent or with the rattle. In his spare time, Tim enjoys turkey hunting and is a big fan of Auburn University football and Atlanta Braves baseball.
