When 10-year-old Hank Lindahl's Tiny Torpedo first disappeared, he thought he had hooked a small bass. However, it didn't take long for the young angler to figure out that this was no ordinary Greenbrier River smallouth. The fish, which Lindahl insisted on releasing after pictures were taken, was more than 20 inches long, fat and strong!

I caught this 10.1 pound giant at 6:45 A.M. on the 27th of May 2007 on a Heddon Super Spook Jr., Wounded Shad. The fish was caught at Lake Arrowhead in Wichita Falls, Texas. It was one of those "bass days"; overcast sky, water temp 72 degrees, and post spawn. I was sure it was going to be a good day.

My name is Trevor Knight and this is a 8 lb. 9 oz. largemouth I caught at Houston County Lake in Crockett, TX on May 24, 2007. We were fishing shallow docks with reaction baits and I was throwing a Smithwick ARB1200 Rattlin Rogue chrome black back orange belly on spinning tackle and 10lb. mono. Right when the Rogue got to the end of the dock that bass sucked it up and started running.

Snook season just opened in my area and I picked up a Zara Super Spook Junior just before heading out the other morning. Just 5 casts after launching my Kayak I hooked up with this drag screamin Snook( 34" long - 11 lbs. ). Less than an hour later I also landed this 27" Redfish and a 17" Trout ( look closely its resting on my paddle).

Largemouth Bass Fishing in South Carolina

I caught this largemouth bass 4/21/07 on my dad’s 4 acre pond in S.C. The largest pulled from here is 10’ 2, mine came in at 7’ 11 (a little over 25’’ long) with a little help from her friend. I had caught 8 or 9 others that morning, she was the last one, and when I placed her in the live well to paddle back to shore, she reduced the catch by one. I have always fished this pond with the tiny torpedo frog, and done very well (mostly good size eating fish). This was the first day I had ever used the Heddon Zara Puppy, and did it drive them crazy. My dad and I went fishing later the next week with the same lure, he caught 6 and probably lost 8 or 9 others. I just want to say thanks, I beat the family record by 11oz’s thanks probably to her breakfast in the live well. You guys make fishing a lot of fun.
